I really want to know,

A secret that binds us together

With a mutual trust to bestow.

A secret that becomes a treasure

Filling each other from head to toe.

A secret that offers insight

Into an intimacy we can share.

That will never disappear,

A secret that will last forever

Year after sacred year.

That keeps itself whole,

A secret that will never dissipate

A deep, dark secret with soul,

Tell me a secret

That will never betray itself,

A secret so silent and magical

It resembles a mute elf.

Everyone has secrets

In search of someone to tell,

Everyone secretly fears

Their secret would ring like a bell.

Some secrets lie in waiting

The whole world to proclaim,

Their shock value alone has the fire

To fuel their perpetual flame.

Someone has a secret to disclose

But no one to disclose it to,

A secret so personal and intimate

It will remain a secret no one knew.
