Finding Clues by John Herlihy Clues lie everywhere Under rocks and shrubs Folded into shadows Behind gossamer veils On mountain tops On hand-painted butterfly wings Inside oysters, Inside snowflakes Whispering grains of wheat Howling of the wind They show themselves Life’s mysteries to reveal Mysteries that abide That within the heart reside Within time, minutes of the day Within the bud the flower May the petals of the mystery unfold So that the secrets of life be told. - - - - - Copyright © John Herlihy Sunday 1 June 2025

Lovely invitation to the realm of unknowns and known, but not noticed. Choices of objects cause this reader to take note and seek yours and perhaps more mysteries of my own. Clear and well voiced as if by Sherlock himself.
