Everything Has an Opposite by John Herlihy Everything has an opposite No matter how plainly we speak My honest take Must have a dishonest take My sincere apology Must have an insincere apology Let me speak plainly Suggests you could speak cloudily If only you knew Raises the specter of what you don’t know I call it as it is What about as it is not I must confess A whole lot you don’t confess Under certain circumstances Leaves room for no circumstances I never assume Until I do assume In any case Belies that one certain case If truth to tell Ya, what about lies that tell Never forget to remember Lest we remember to forget - - - - - Copyright © John Herlihy Thursday 12 March 2026

INDEED; YING AND YANG. THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE IS SUSTAINED BY NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE ENERGY, CONSTANTLY. A common theme for you. When I first took speech class, we were taught to learn how to argue against common accepted issues. There's always another side to an argument.

Better to argue with them formally, like a debate, rather than go to war over them.
