Loves Soft Light
Loves soft light falls upon hearts so fair.
Gentle is the soul which love doth bear.
Its depth is unnumbered; its time undreamed.
Passion wielded from the heart come of angels wings.
Imposing is this love which holds this heart fast.
Arresting is this ardor; commanding day’s future and past.
Dreams fall from lips; devotion arises evermore.
Whereunto is this life which lies sweet on eternity’s shore.
Oh how loves soft light falls upon hearts so fair.
Where days eclipse nights; where souls forever share.
Oh soft light on this your heart; on this my soul…
to now hence forth in oneness, to forever to be whole.
