White Is The Silence

White is the silence.

Cold is its whisper.

Neither light of day,

nor dark of night.

keeps the silence away.

So hush now…its time to sleep.

I pray the Lord my soul to keep.

Come soft now absence of time.

Expunge the shadows of my mind.

Pilgrims progress unto the wicket gate.

Come to me now for it grows late.

Oh White is the silence,

and so cold its whisper.

You are hurting, so am I still. I needto still keep busy and nights were the worst for me at first. I couldn't sleep with the quiet either so much. Now I do a little more, from exhaustion of the days doings. Peace will come slowly and you will always miss her and think of things and her spirit will abide in you constantly. Having gone through it, I can explain a little better how it is. Very quiet and not comforting at all even after a yrs time. But as michelle said, everyone takes their own time to grieve and doing so heals slowly and is time consuming at times to even think about them.

Allen,
Sometimes complete silence is the loudest sound of all. God bless you Allen, and may He in His infinite wisdom give you peace.

I am praying for you, I know the grief must be hitting you hard, I can not pretend to understand, because everyone deals with grief differently, but I can offer you my support
In Christs Love

The white noise of loneliness comes across clearly in haunting/haunted lines. But remember this: you are not alone, your Father in Heaven holds you in His arms as you rest. Sleep well, my friend, know you're in our prayers! Well penned.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
