Many attempt to abash me for my silent nature.

Many tried to figure out why I do not smile on cue.

Some have said I am not effectual or warm,

yet they continually fail to do me harm

They do not know what they perceive before them,

not a part of the community but and individual.

I am an aspect of the multifaceted spectrum.

I flow like the black water slow and sensual.

My terrain is free of storm and turmoil.

The foolish masses seek to prove their pain.

I choose to live peacefully free of toil.

Yet they line up to vocalize their tempers angst and disdain.

I return from the river to the sea time and again,

and revel in the actions, as a raging wave.

Yet those down to earth speak only the same,

I ignore their abashing attempts to enslave.

You see I am free to be as I be.

I will only listen to me and what makes me feel good.

I've not any human fictitious concepts to prove,

such as confidence, self esteem, the smile and its ilk.

My personality remains unseen motionless,

Yet obvious to those who seek to test.

I can be cold at first and become warm later,

with every move you make I will follow and caress.

Yes there are many who dump their gossip in the sea,

but it will be there in some form when they drink of polluted me.

Irregardless of what you see on the surface,

a predator waits beneath moving stealthily.

As a wise man once said for those with eyes to see,

verily verily I say unto thee,

steer clear- proceed with caution, and

don't f*** with me!
