my secret hide-a-
way---cloistered in a pleasent
grove ---
calls my name
only I can hear the
melodies floating ---weaving
among the shorereeds and
---willowgreen swaying
to and fro---whispering
windsongs and breeze-speeches----
kissed like butterflies
wings---it waits for you
to join me

and January receivesthem
unwrapped and in goodly
condition---feather
stone markers signal
to friends passing
by the porch wrapped
around the portico and walls
separating strollers and
my love.
