Ko`tha and Starr

An excerpt from my book "The river of dark water", about a young Native couple who, after being seperated as children, are finally reunited during a journey to his homeland!

Ko`tha watches from beyond the trees
as she stares, enchanted, at the blossoms
of honeysuckle, violet and orchids
that grow along the mountain ridge trail,
along side it's crystal clear spring

Starr enhales and murmurs softly:
"Ko`tha! have you ever seen anything
more beautiful than this?"

Ko`tha slowly approaches her from behind.
his voice is low and soft,
as the flowing waters of the warm spring

Close to her ear, he whispers:
"Yes I have, my Starr.  Lastnight, as the moon
shone over the pond, I was blessed to see
your beautiful form, bathing in it's warmth
your long, silky black hair fanned across your
slim , wet shoulders.  I was mesmerized as you
rose and left the pond, and the gentle bounce
of your perfect breasts, the slow movement
of your womanly hips, and your long
slim waist, was a vision every man's
eyes have prayed to behold!"
His dark eyes twinkled with admiration:

"that, my Starr, is more beautiful than anything
these eyes have ever seen before!"
