weird, what visions one sees!

Poem Artwork

Far below the crystal slate mountain
in a world darkened for a thousand years
I lay in wait for the call to rise
I have dreamed of him all these years
and yet, I am not the one promised to him
in amazement I wonder, for no one sees
The Cryon Prince, save the one chosen
to mate with him

But I hear his song of seduction call to me
deep beneath the cool fluid world
I feel the shiver of surrender and the fullness
of his powerful thrusts, his superior flush
ripple across the bright blue waves
I wait for his shadow at the top of the waterfall
Color flows down into me from his power
how is it he has chosen another but I feel him?
He will arrive in glorious splendor
and when he touches me, the whole
galaxy will burst into a red blaze
as time dawns once more

But for now, I lay and wait, honored
that I will be apart of time's reawakening
But, what will arise from these waters
the earth may not be prepared to endure
!
