That Impenetrable Place

I made a place in my mind A place that only I can find This place of mine Rich as velvet and wine Is so divine When life's grey and cold And new struggles unfold I'll call to mind Warmth of velvet and wine I'll be fine My heart may be blue My smiles may be few But in my mind There is velvet and wine And it's mine Life can bring what it may To cause an affray It won't undermine Vibrant velvet and wine My own design.

Nothing matches having that "centered place" for inner retreat.
