If all else fails, read the instructions;

the bible can eliminate all manner of confusion.

Why would you want to wallow in the mire;

seek knowledge, and hardly ever again suspire.

Satan will whisper about the man of the cloth;

he forgets to mention Judas, at whatever cost.

The worst stumbling block though is the devil's prod;

that in no way makes void the Word of God.

I recall Nixon, Madoff, and now Sandusky;

their just recompense, now we clearly see.

Scandal after scandal, mankind loses his way;

we all find out iniquity just doesn't pay.

The bible doesn't add up, some will say;

their own insight is fine, there they'll stay.

Some avoid it, what's written therein;

the conscience seared, surrounded by din.

If all else fails, read the instructions;

superfluity absent, no imperfections.

When we listen to God's Word, sound instruction prevails;

Satan's deception and temptation, powerless to assail.
