It started last year, I just got fed up;
seemed like everyday I was in a wickiup.
Outside my door they've been falling on me;
so much stuff like leaves, droppings and other debris.
I've been lookin' up, they've been lookin' down;
those darn sparrows, all I could do was frown.
I attempted to climb the brick lattice, push the nests out;
got half way up and looked down, then too much doubt.
Went to home depot, got me an extension pole;
minus a ladder, now I'm in complete control.
Now armed and dangerous, pole with a squeegee;
birds are flying out, soon I should be carefree.
Did it after dark, did it during the day;
all that poking, they can't even say hey!
Suits me fine, took their droppings elsewhere;
got better things to do, my broom's in disrepair.
It started last year, I just got fed up;
seemed like everyday I was in a wickiup.
After a few days the birds were all gone;
no more droppings, maybe they flew to Tucson.
