For those who have them, horses become very close. Unfortunately, keeping a horse these days is very costly for most. And it is really best for them when they run free.
The last line stunned me with that ending in "stun." Did you mean another word? The only thing I can think of would be that you were stunned by the horse's attributes described. Very masculine, by the way… A real stud. Stallion. Freudian slip?
Although I have never had much interaction with horses I love to watch them run across an open field...with a freedom and wildness of all that is beautiful in nature...
