Single's a drag....marriage a snag! (Just joking of course!)

Thinkin' back when I lived by myself Scared to love I kept my heart stuck high up on a shelf Had a broken heart took time to mend Glad it did took ten years for me to try love again All I did was work and come on home Only bill collectors or wrong numbers on the phone Cooking for myself was such a bore Girl Scouts selling cookies when a knock came on the door Then one day I went out for a walk Gentleman walked up to me and started some small talk Seemed like he was quite a harmless guy Dropped my guard it wasn't hard got married by and by Now I'm sure I must have lost my mind As he snores and dirty socks left on the floor I find Skid marks found expound not on the road Too much information so I'll stop and wash a load !
