Christmas Surprise!

My granddaughter and her friend were in a Christmas play for an elementary school. They were getting ready to play the part of pixies.

I peeked into the livingroom
What do you think I saw
Two pixies dancing 'round my tree
I stood and gazed in awe

They giggled and they jumped and rolled
Dressed all in red and green
This was the greatest Christmas show
My eyes had ever seen

Then with a poof they disappeared
I wondered where'd they gone
I looked outside and saw a sleigh
Fly over my front lawn

Well that's my story yes it's true
They certainly were here
I'm hoping that the sleigh will bring
Them back again next year
