Dragons are everywhere. Beware!!!

A fairie walked along a path The autumn air was crisp and fine Not knowing that the dragon's cave Was just around the unseen bend Red yellow orange leaves did fall Dear fairie played amongst the vine Not knowing that she soon would meet Her sad means nearly to an end The dragon waited patiently After a night of drinking wine His need to stalk was oh so strong Her family his message send Fine words his mastery was known The fairie did observe in time His trickery turned on himself Tied tongue unable for to mend Dear fairie fled the darkened cave Away from trickery and rhyme Bright colored leaves swept fair fairie Yellow red orange stood to fend Dire dragon fell fairie was safe Transformed he into mount of lime Formation still beheld today An eerie sight a message blend Jane Noponen Perinacci �

Message to all fairies, beware of the awful dragon. But it looks like the fairie killed the dragon. Must be a modern take. John
