Volumes & Volumes of Voluminous Volumes…

Wanna read for ever and ever...but in my next life...

Volumes & volumes of voluminous volumes…

(is this name a tongue twister?)

When I die, I want to come back as a librarian,

I want to read and read then read again some more,

Or maybe I can be an owner of a bookstore,

As reading all I have therein, would take up my whole day,

I know I speak of reading, but do more writing,

I am more of a writer, I know, what can I say…

But in my next life, I want to read books in this life I missed,

More philosophy, psychology, sociology, even oceanography,

My desires in this life; lean toward the fictional,

But next life I want to read more biographical…

I guess I herein don’t have to say it, I love to read, ain’t no shit,

Anything I can read in this life, I wish I could recall in the next,

Hell, I wish I could just remember,

Some of the things I have read in this life,

Statements made by fine authors, quotes to use when needed,

But alas, my brain does not work that way,

I have perfect hindsight for sure,

But foresight I seem to leave behind, no cure…

I think you would make an excellent librarian's whipping boy. Nonetheless, I enjoy reading your voluminous volumes.
