Hate is like that of a vessel with a hole...empty...ed

Hatred…

A dark emotion it is,

No way around it, it has to end,

Else we will have to fend,

Off the future of our children as they do also tend…

Too late for those who already hate,

We can change if we allow ourselves to close that gate,

Hard to do, no matter what we try,

We all have it; such is our fate…

We all talk of hating this and that,

Different foods, drinks, certain ways of others,

But if we end this talk, we stop the words usage,

Then maybe we can just in this lifetime, take a walk,

Away from the words we have found to be something we should balk…

We are all intelligent human beings, but hatred is that of a thorn in our sides,

Anything and everything we see or think, we say we hate, this or that,

I think the less we use the word,

The more we will see how much we do not need it to be a part of our vocabulary,

The less it will be used, the less our children see us using it just in passing,

And the less they will use it, as it will have no meaning anymore…

Ah, for a world devoid of hate…

I would love to be in the world where there was no hatred! But unfortunely there is no such place. There really needs to be more love in this world!

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
