Are we a Cancer?

Are we a cancer on the face of this world?

Are we a Cancer?

Can you possibly see?

What is being done to me?

From the position of the sea,

Where you are at so permanently…

Where do we go?

What do we do?

Are we as strong?

As we possibly can be, so,

To go onto where we are lead,

Can we do so with all that is said?

Or must we be unfortunately, bled,

Prior to our running away, yes fled…

Is sight all we need?

To see the world that binds us,

Are we not all just questions without answers?

As eternal law does blind us,

Are we not all we can be, or are we just a cancer?

On the face of this planet so full of dancers…

Dancing through that of life, yes, that is rife with strife,

Are we more whole with that of a wife?

Or are we just living in a hole, like that of a mole?

Straining to see out of our little hole in the ground,

Waiting on death or another life, as we are bound…

I do agree with Anna, but I like to add one thing to that. Not only is balance one of the keys but also love is the other key. If we have love in our life, then indeed we are rich beyond compare.
Keep on writtin'.....lol

It is indeed pitiful, if all one has in life is to look forward
to death.
Balance is the keyword. Few of us find it, but when we do, we
experience a contentment not known by even the richest on earth.

Good questions, Ed. Good poem!
