Conceptualizing…?

Searching for the ocean, while on the sea,

Searching for the self, while being me,

Searching for the forest, while surrounded by trees,

Searching for love, while being loved…

Seeking someone that isn’t there,

Seeking what is, but know not where,

Seeking the future would only scare,

Seeking the past we already know what is there,

Seek only the present, as living in reality requires…

Scour the word for statements left unsaid,

Scour the world for places to be led,

Scour yourself for everything else instead,

Scour the store for margarine spread,

Scour the ground where the caterpillar does tread,

Scour your mind, wondering if this is worth to be read…
