Vengeance…

Belongs to the lord, so says the bible, repeated by so many,

Does nothing for anyone, I say, so humbly,

The world could be a better place, if revenge & vengeance were to be outlawed,

For both are like drinking salt water, thirst does remain, only worse does it cause us to attain…

Drink not salt water, but from the river of peace, meditate away your feelings at least,

For no one can help, you from being vengeful, this comes from within, allow it not,

We all have our own weaknesses; allowing the devil to enter our minds, ruining our lives,

We all also have our strengths, ceasing to allow faith and peace to enter, our choice,

Remember that is the case, for our lives are nothing but clocks, running till we break,

Then we will meet with death, are we ready for that last breadth…?

Have you cleaned up your act, made your peace with that of your god?

Or have you decided that money, fame and lack of compassion are your gods?

Gonna take them with you, when die you find you must, to do no good, in the end of your time…

So vengeance is not something you should incur or attempt if that is what you wish,

We are here for such a short time, on this earth we call ours, let us do what we can,

To make our short stay that of happiness and peace, let us use up our hours,

In fun, in play, in prayer and in peace, no more war, no more gore, at the very least…
