Daddy Says I am a Character

Humor and pets, not sure which, how do you like my picture at the end, I think that really works...

Daddy Says I am a Character…

Yes I may be, as I don’t know what the word means,

As far as I am concerned it could amount to a hill of beans,

Dad tells me so, so I am obliged to believe him, or so it seems,

But there is one thing I won’t become no matter how much he screams…

An actor is the one thing; Daddy wants me to show off for his friends, all high,

Talk to me Rufuz he says, give your paw Rufuz, I won’t unless a treat I get, that’s why,

So if you meet me in person, bring some treats, yes biscuits, and I will be for you,

Anyone you want me to be even if it means dying my fur blue…

I know daddy loves me, as I do him, but when he is high,

He sort of ignores me making me to sigh,

Then when he stands up, he almost falls, onto me, so funny he is when he flies…

He listens to outlandish music or watches a show, mostly comedy, for he likes to laugh,

When he is high, he is so funny, he should record it on tape, so he can play it back,

To himself the next day, then he can see just how wacky he acts, when he smokes that stuff,

So let him be the actor in the family, I do say,

If he does become that person, I know I will sit/stay just to see how good he is, & I will pray…

Your Daddy is a Wild One, Rufuz. Good thing you are there to protect him; Good Boy! And I think you should get plenty of those treats - every day - for doing such a good job!!

I think "Daddy" is the character. Sounds like to me he's been smokin' the wacky tobakki again! Better keep him in line.
