I don't comment on a lot of poetry for the same reason--I don't know a lot of big words and haven't read a lot of the great "Works" by the literary masters. I thoroughly enjoy all your reviews. You are very humorous and witty, and I always look forward to reading what you have to say.

Ed--you are not "less than able." There are many writes that I don't quite grasp the meaning but that doesn't mean the flow of words is not exquisite--such as you did above. You are honest and that's more than most can say. Love, b

STOP THAT THIS INSTANT! Ed, my dear, sweet Ed, it is about taste. Sometimes we "get it".. sometimes we don't... and that goes for every single one of us. I loved, let me repeat that LOVED what you said about leaving the standard quick response... but I've even found that sometimes, though those words may seem overused, they come from the heart of the sender and may just be exactly what they feel. Like you, I wish to leave as much of my reaction as possible. As long as we are sincere, we should say what we feel. Your intellect is never in question... without variety here, we would all grow bored very quickly. I have read many things that I didn't "understand" but I could still marvel in the way the words and phrasing was put together... Don't let me ever catch you putting yourself down this was again! Well expressed, Ed. You do not suck as a reviewer. You are honest. I find it hard myself to understand some poets as well. What's wrong with that?
