Life, it should be cherished...mostly

Cherish…

Life is here for us to cherish,

We have no choice till we eventually perish,

Unless of course we take the cowards way out,

That of suicide, death I do not tout…

Short is life; long is our strife, no need to take a knife,

And shorten it any less, for what good would it do,

Only making the rest of us quite blue,

That will be a day, for the rest of eternity, you will likely rue…

Caught between heaven and hell, or a new life and the old,

Suicide puts you where you need not be, worse than where you are now,

A life of permanent fear, no love, no friends, no family, and extremely cold,

Hope you heed this advice, as there is very little to do in death,

When it comes self-inflicted, for life is a gift, and death a rift,

In the fabric of time, space and love,

All of which you lose with suicide, have I ever before lied?
