Punctuation & Grammar…

The question herein would be,

Is this poet’s punctuation and grammar,

Up to snuff or where it is supposed to be,

Should there be a question mark somewhere near, like maybe here>?

So how do I do, you all have my most sincere respect,

Or should this poet just beat himself,

About the head with the working end of a hammer?

I know what DW will say to that last question, oh yes,

Beat yourself, and tape it so we all can watch and see,

Will most likely get me locked up for a short stint in the slammer…

Been there before, can do it again, maybe debtors prison this time,

To pay off that which is owed to the world in general,

As every time I write, I seem to take a little off the top,

Of whatever it is that keeps this world so right, just I am I suppose an old sop…

So let me know, if you recall the reason for this tirade,

As I do not recall or remember what I wrote this for, this little charade…
