Did We Think?

Did we think when were kids?

We would actually be typing and talking?

Into a computer, never even knew the word,

Although learned, no not in school, on TV, Star Trek, never bored…J

Did we think when we were kids?

We would be carrying a phone around with us?

We would have looked at moms old black heavy phone,

And try to imagine carrying that around, let alone heavier than any stone…L

Did we think when we were kids?

We would be driving vans and SUV’s?

We’d be saying what the heck is that, oh sorry for that word…L

So many things there are, microwaves, heating with nuclear power, OMG,

We will all surely burn up like so much bread, or glow in the dark for life…

Lets not forget that we were told cars would one day look like rockets or spaceships,

Has anybody seen an Aztec or most high-end sports car of today?

All as close to spaceships as we can get, George Jetson would have approved, I think…J

Life sure has changed, though at times it seems just so deranged…J
