A dreamer I have been called, aren't we all, for what else is there to live for, a dreamer I am, thats all...

Imagination... is but another name for absolute power and clearest insight.
- William Wordsworth

Dreamer…

A dreamer am I,

Or so my dad used to say,

I guess even my teachers,

Did also say, my dreaming would find me in trouble one day…

Done my dreaming on the beach, during the day & night,

While I drove, while I walked, while I suffered from sickness & blight,

Found my niche in life by dreaming, takes me away dreaming does so right…

Here I sit in one of my dreams, a motor home to travel in, home for Rufuz,

Still I can hear my dad venting, telling me to stop dreaming, nothing will change,

But I am addicted now to my dreaming & fantasy, nothing strange,

Further have I dreamed than anyone can imagine, I have gone completely out of range…

So hear me Dad, wherever it is you are, my dreams have kept me alive, I have no scars,

I know what it is you want to say; I can feel it though you are gone, here & now right away,

You think I am not getting’ anywhere, but I am still dreaming of being there…

What’s so wrong with that, tell me one good reason, and I will change my destination,

And maybe in the process alleviate your frustration…

As our fellow AD author always says, "Cherish your dreams".....and he is right Ed - for at times, they are all we have to sustain us.

Even if you can never satisfy your father, you have certainly gone above and beyond the dreams of many with your fine words my friend.

Love,

~Rose~

We are all dreamers, Ed. What would life be without dreams, goals, and desires?

Don't be so tough on yourself. Dream On, My Friend, and I hope all your dreams come true.
