In Heaven, Are There Memories?
Once we achieve the ultimate place,
After we have left for good the human race,
No more running around and worrying, trying to keep pace,
Found for the rest of eternity, an everlasting space…
We will see whom we lost, or will we as some may have gone south,
We will be happy, comfortable, well fed through the mouth,
But will we remember, will we think about our pasts,
All the things we did, all the friends we’ve known, all our lasts,
As never again after that, can we swing a club, climb a tree, or make the perfect cast…
So will we remember when we did this or that?
Who we did it with, the fun memories or the nightmares, and the so much for that’s?
I am just trying to ask, yes, I am really interested how far we ultimately retain,
That which has been within us, in our mind, yes, in our brain,
I truly hope the positive events are permanently ingrained…

An excellent write!From what I've studied, I'm sorry
to say most of the way we view heaven is incorrect;-)
I can't say for sure as no one can, but if we believe in
what we study, it shows that in heaven all things are new.
However, Jesus does say we will know and be known by our
loved ones.The idea of people looking down on us from heaven
is false. There are those chosen by God to communicate for
His purpose,but that's different.Can you imagine leaving all
the misery behind only to go to heaven have to watch our
loved ones going through hell down here, and all the wars etc
that we can't do anything about. Heaven is the perfect expression
of Gods love,He said he would dry every tear, and there would be
no more pain or tribulation, or war etc.
