Dad gave me a haircut, not the best, but better than what I had looked like before...I can't see my butt anyway, LOL! :)

Daddy Gave me a Haircut, by Rufuz…

Yes daddy did give me a bit of a haircut Sunday,

I sat on my table and he trimmed off my butt hair,

Now I can go poopies without getting it caught,

I know that is too much information, “butt” that’s the way it is…

He trimmed under my chin too,

Boy is it easier to eat and drink now,

He said it was not a very good job,

But whatever my daddy does for me is good,

He loves me and I him, he also brushed me; that feels good too…

I have been shedding; I know that, I cannot help it,

But while daddy eats my hair and it floats in the air,

He does not get upset, boy I love him, he is so fair,

As a barber he has very little if any flair,

But I would never ever leave him to go anywhere…

Well, I don’t want to wake him,

He got up early to write a poem, he was crying in his dreams,

I worry when he does that because he feels the same for me,

I wish him well; I won’t see him all day, while at work he will be…

LOL... please forgive me, Ruffie.. when I read anything by Calendula down below here, I generally fall off my chair and find breathing a bit tough for a few minutes... Sigh.. there now.. composed and ready: sooooo, butt hairs are gone, eh? Jaysus, first Eddie K, then me, now Ruffie... next we'll all be going around singing: "bald is beautiful.. everyone shave your head!" Actually, on some, bald IS beautiful (giggle). Alright, let's get serious here, those last few lines, Ruf, were very sweet, very caring. It's obvious, you've acquired your daddy's sense of compassion and deep caring. That's it for now, my beardless Braveheart. katy xox.

Now you have gone too far, Ed! If Rebecca reads this, she'll want to shave my butt hairs, too. Have you no compassion??!!

Poor Rufuz, I can feel your pain.

glad to hear you have got rid of the bum fluff Rufuz, those klingons sure make a mess of the furniture. Hope Daddy gets out the shake and vac.
It isnt everyday I write to such a noble dog as yourself, you should think of a career in poetry.
