Philosophy yes, humor? maybe? either way if you understand it, you can explain it to me...for I know not where this came from or what it means for the most part...

SEEDING TO BREED…

I read and I write,

I breed and I fly kites,

Told to do so by one so dear,

Cannot keep it up, without the string,

When I breed with her here…

I do read poetry of erotic sex,

Did someone put on me maybe a hex?

So that even then my abilities seem to have gone to heck,

Maybe to the gods of sex, I have forgotten to write a check?

This started to be about reading and writing and has transpired,

Into something more than I had ultimately desired,

I try to write about the write, the read, where we get our seed,

But instead I have written again about my inability to succeed…

Need I continue to write uninspired?

Feed your head I do with works so less than desired,

Seed from above, is it that which we breed for?

Or do we really, really need the seed of the muse and idea?

I know not what herein I speak; I try to write,

I try to not have my brains on this page, leak,

But to be honest dear reader, I am finding it hard,

Hard to breed very deep, without standing straight,

Hard to write so well, as long as I am inside something quite steep…

Nope... I don't get it either... but sometimes just putting some words together is an act of therapeutic discovery... carry on, Eddie M. katy xox.
