Rufuz & Me…
He can’t pee without me,
He can’t poop without me also,
When I am home, he won’t take a walk,
With anybody else but his old dad, me…
Put him on the leash outside,
I walk across the street to talk,
He cry’s and whines, wants a walk,
Only when I am with him does he just then abide…
Yes I am loved, that is for certain, as he is too,
There is no place for me to hide, especially if he wants a ride,
Going out to find horsies and other dogs to bark at,
Looking at trees and places to run, he always looks for fun…
So Rufuz and I we are a team, a small one but nonetheless,
He dirties the house, I clean it, he poops on someone’s lawn,
I get to clean it as well, wish that I could just squat and do the same,
There are some people I would like to do that too,
But all I have to do, is let Rufuz poop on their lawn, they walk in it, what a shame…

What a shame!
When the poop got stepped on
it took the verbal curses of the people
yet the poop still stay silent.
What a shame!
Hope Rufus is happy with his poops.

PS I have recently trained Turbo to fetch the 'doggie poop bags' from the container I keep them in when it is walk time. He's a quick study, and he now eagerly fetches several of them and brings them to me just prior to our walks. He also intently watches me use them to pick up after him.
I am thrilled by this, and one day, I hope to be able to squat on one of my nasty neighbor's lawns, and then yell "fetch the poop in the bag, Turbo." But if he doesn't get that last part just right, I won't get too mad!
Thanks for the smile this morning, my friend!
