Do meanings really mean anything...?
Meanings…(or the lack thereof) Do we write to have meanings? Do we write to explain meanings? Do we write with meanings? Do we write so others know our meanings? I think not, I write to write, My meanings mean nothing, sometimes even to me, If you do read my writes, do I seem to care, can you seem to see? Is it necessary for someone else to know the meaning? Do I have to understand what it is I write? Suffice to say I am happy with most of what I write, If I do write something I am unhappy with, then I will not post it, As if I don’t like it, others will most likely find it to have no meaning as well… So as we write and read and review and sometimes not do, We just are as liable to make something interesting, If not to you then to me, or to Rufuz or to others, Sometimes my writes while having no meaning, may only to mothers… Can you understand what this poem does mean? If so you can explain it to me, so I can add it to my scene… © poppy-writtED ~ 7/7/04

I think, perhaps, Rufuz is the true genius among us.. (grin) I'll bet he's got it all figured out. I sure don't, but that's half the fun of waking every day... to always go looking. We often write when we are inspired and therefore even the author does not always know what it is that has been written, but the person that needs to read it and understand it always does, even when the author does not know that it has affected someone. Insightful write........and sometimes I read into a poem things that the author did not see until I mention it LOL.

In my humble opinion to write without meaning is like eating without food!Now you can put any connotation you want to, on my comment. But I wrote it with meaning;-)!

Deep thoughts here Ed...I write because, the words in my head want to come out...and I think I have learned, despite what I may have meant or intended...the reader will interpret them in what ever way they need to...and that is a magical thing, yes?

I think I do know what you mean by this write!!

I write because it means something to me....each and every write carries a personal message or piece of me and my "God damn sucking" life. As for AD...it became my outlet to get my feelings and hurt under control en to try to heal myself by writting about it Bigtime!!

And when I read someone it is because I care and love to read that person....its like communicating with my family on a daily basis...thats that
