is there humor when high, or just boring repetitiveness...laughing at things that are more than stupidity, crying over spilt beer or a loss of virginity...

Is anyone really funny when high…? Seems we think, we are funny when high, Stating the obvious, repeating things so oblivious, Not remembering who we are or what we are saying, Hopefully though remembering that person we are laying… Waxing poetic do I when I am high, or is it philosophical, Either way it comes out totally & completely nonsensical, Probably making me look the fool or the pseudo intellectual, Still I do try to make an impression on the world in general, Right up to the point and past it of being totally ineffectual… So here I sit, typing to you and trying to be true , While all the time being inefficacious, my point not getting through, Sometimes that of my muse will run the gamut, From one side of my brain to the side I don’t often use, But for the few moments I do the philosophical thing & write while I sing, My song I sing being for the most part quite abused and overused… © ~ poppywrittED ~ 7/23/04

I would not be able to write when I am drunk...because I will miss the key and go for a "P" laughing my tune away!!
So sober I stay anyway...only drink poetry and eat/cry my heart out!!

There was a poet Li Pao in ancient China, who wrote and spoke poetry whenever he was drunk; so I guess we don't know when or what can inspire us the most to write.

The ones I know who get high stick together. Therefore they are repitive to themselves as a whole and seem to understand one another although...they forget later what all was said in the first place. Am I making any sense here? maybe not. I don't need to get high...I'm blonde.
Funny but "telling" poem .
