The Funny Things my Human Does…

As a dog I see many funny things,

My mommy & daddy in the bathroom, not a pretty sight,

How they snore and how they fight,

How they sleep & how they are at night,

They console me at times, even though I am not scared,

The thunder boomers they actually do just hurt my ears,

If I knew it was coming I would be a little more prepared…

Daddy and I live in this big box thing,

It drives and it stops just like his car,

But it is so much bigger; my mom is scared,

To drive this beast, she calls it, thought she spoke of me,

She actually calls me her little piglet or piggly wiggly, you see…

When we are alone, dad takes few showers,

He stinks like me, not like any flowers,

That is when we play the best,

When he is not afraid to get dirty,

His clothes he wears for several days,

Changing back to dirty ones every few…

So much fun I can tell you of,

My dad is a trip,

Mommy too, but I see her less than dad,

As he and I live together, and he gets ripped,

He puts this stuff in his pipe; it smells like dung,

Don’t call him then, he can’t get to the phone till after its rung…
