Lined up in a neat row...

Sequential Thoughts…

All in a row,

In a line they do grow,

One after the other,

Like a baby and its mother…

Next please,

Can wait on the next person,

This line is open,

Standing in too many lines can anyone’s day worsen…

Getting dark earlier,

Lightening up later,

The flow & ebb of the seasons,

Gives our lives its reasons…

Cylinder one does fire,

Then two, four and six

Not to mention three & five,

If you got an eight, then it’s too late,

Two cylinders lost, the engine can go in a crate…

Nothing more to be said,

Point made, game won, set match,

Does anyone win?

Need in future to just catch…

Ed, an exceptionally thought-provoking write, which illustrates the changes one must go through in order to remain a viable part of the human race and live in harmony with Mother Earth. Peace thru firing on all cylinders my friend.

A few extra, thought-provoking layers in this one, Ed... you're very good at extending an invitation to ponder life. You've snuck a bit in between those lines... good stuff! katy xox.

The parade of our thoughts is a never ending flow. Like the flow of the tides, new ones comes along as the old ones goes, then old ones re-surface as the new ones becomes old. Like the four seasons, it is a never ending parade.

Congratulations Ed! You have penned a well-meaning deep poem.

The flow & ebb of the seasons,
Gives our lives its reasons…

I like that! Life truly would be dull without the four seasons.
