Rene stopped by today, lunch and shopping we did it all...what a wonderful day we had & I miss her already...!

Visited…

Visited today we were,

Rufuz got to see his mommy,

I, the love of my life, my only,

But when she does leave, oh I am so lonely…

Out for the day, shopping like old times,

Put my foot in my mouth, should have stuck to rhymes,

Took it out, insensitive I was, better to make up, sometimes,

Left she did happy; someday we will be together again,

When in the future we have, more than now to rub together, more dimes…

Rufuz happy as a only a dog can be, his mommy got him cookies & biscuits,

Paid she did for some extra food, for my starving little “puppy”(?),

Now with his dinner he can have some tasty little briskets,

Still he eats better than me, cause he is our one and only doggy…

We love to have her visit; we hate to see her go,

Rufuz misses his mommy as do I, don’t know which does more so…

Ahem! Good to see you wearing your heart on your sleeve... she must be a marvelous woman, indeed! (doesn't Ruffie share?) LOL. There's nothing like a family outing to get the cobwebs cleared out. Lovely piece, Petunia! (grin) katy xox.

Very nice. The line, "Put my foot in my mouth, should have stuck to rhymes" is cute. Enjoyed!

And you had a great day together, which makes for wonderful memories, and a wonderful anticipation of the next visit, Ed.

Here's hoping it's soon.
