His Paws Crossed

So cute to watch Rufuz sleep and wonder what he dreams...?

His Paws Crossed…

When he sleeps he has his paws crossed,

Huffing and puffing while he sleeps his dreams do exhaust,

The slightest movement either outside or by me,

And he opens his eyes only a slit looking to be criss-crossed…

When he dreams he does run in place,

Seems as though he is in a dream-state race,

Is he winning, or is he chasing a bitch with a pretty face?

Or does her butt smell so pretty he wants to it, embrace?

His favorite weather does approach,

Wintertime his best time of year,

Maybe he is dreaming of playing in the snow with daddy,

In the snow, and with his dad he seems to have no fear…

Goes outside, crawls under the camper,

Your gonna get dirty again Rufuz my buddy,

But dad the dirt underneath is cooler and damper,

Do what you will; I can’t stop you from getting muddy,

Just want to warn you, a bath is forthcoming, then you will try to away from me scamper…

reading about your Rufuz reminds me of my Edgar, who's sleeping - no kidding, paws crossed - at my feet just now.

I've always had dogs, and i get such a kick out of watching them sleep. When they are awake they have such expressive faces, you just look into your dog's eyes, and you see exactly what they are thinking......they say the eyes are the windows to the soul.....and in canine gazes that is so very true! There is no pretense, its open and raw.........such giving, and they don't stop. I think dogs are the most wonderful creatures on earth, and we as human beings are blessed by their decision to join us! lol.....ok we feed them and spoil them, so they do have motivation.......but they are pure love......its straight from the heart. They understand so very much, they know when we are happy or mad, and they work around our moods.......ok she is feeling jolly let me jump all over her, or she is upset........better hide under the table and take a nap.....its been 10 minutes since my last one and i am over due! lol........
ohhhhhh i saw a wolf this weekend on a leash at an Indian Pow Wow.....it was tamer than any dog i ever had, kids were crawling all over it, petting, hugging.........i was amazed.....

hey
give rufuz a hug for me!

Aww... puppy love, Ed... know it well! I have a dippy, white-blonde, sleek and pretty Golden Retriever who is just as cute when she's asleep - and it's the ONLY time she ever "woofs" or "barks"... wish the same could be said of me, but sadly I have to confess "Not true!" Willow's delight is to roll in fox or badger poo - luvly! Then she becomes a piebald pooch! Delightful read, Ed. TY Kate xx
