Is There Anybody Really Out There?

I am fine, just ranting after 300 miles of driving...

Is There Anybody Really Out There?

Are you really out there?

Are you really listening to my pleas?

Are you taking down in shorthand what I say?

Are you finding me to be in anyway boorish or insensitive?

If you are really out there, could you just let me know?

Maybe a word of praise or something to help me grow,

Help me if you will from feeling so damnable low,

If you are really out there, somehow please bestow,

Before I do something stupid, like my life away I would throw…

Where do you live, in my psyche, or “id” or someplace like that?

Please help me in someway, help me to not with myself combat,

Feeling worse than all that, feeling like I am all the time so flat,

But please don’t relate this to anyone; please don’t be a rat…

Am I all alone in here or out there?

Do I seem to be whining too much?

That you are just ignoring me and such,

My mind going through that of despair,

But really and truly don’t worry,

Nothing will I allow to happen to me I swear…

Is there anyone really out there at all?

Am I praying and speaking and meditating to the self?

Or is there someone or something laughing at me, et al…?

You are never alone, even when you feel like it. You are heard but I can understand how some days those questions to come to your mind. Hugs.

You could say it's just "goin' to Snake Town" - but it is a good question. Perhaps it should be asked more often. Thank you, that made me think! (and I like that!)

That's a really cool font you've got there, Ed. What is it?
Just kidding. I hear you loud and clear. It bees just this way sometimes in mood.
But it is a cool typeface.
