One insects philosophy is anothers world view...

From a Small Point of View…

Looking up I see large objects,

Worried I am of being stepped on,

I treat those that big with great respect,

They are like gods to me, please don’t squish me,

I verily and respectfully request…

Such a big world I do live upon,

My life so small in the grand scheme,

Although I am a member of a great team,

Sometimes I may go to a great extreme,

But I always do remember above & around me there is a supreme…

The sky looks so large, the stars so distant,

The moon so foreboding and space so forgiving,

Wish that I could be bigger than I am,

For if I were like the creatures that sometimes step on me,

I could touch the moon, the stars and things so large for free…

Oh I did not tell you what I was here so insignificantly,

I am more so than anything else in the world so signific”ant”,

The last three letters of that last word is what creature I am,

Please be careful not to step on me, I mean you no harm,

Just trying to live just like you, building and sculpturing my farm…

Ants are interesting creatures. I kind of like them, as long as they're not inside.
