Damn middle of the night muse...

Living to Poet Another Day…

Farewell dear poet,

Your time has come,

Time to write your poetry,

For the gods and then some…

Fare the well dear poet of the pen,

We will see each other elsewhere again,

For we all have our time to depart,

And shed this mortal coil, do I hear an amen?

Find in your passing eternal life without strife,

Your future with God and his angels,

Your future spoken for under the tutelage of the greats,

Your next life will come and never again will you be in dire straits…

Farewell dear poet, your time has come,

I will await your return until in my own time I do succumb…
