Sometimes being awakened in the middle of the night is a good thing...
Some Dreams… Some dreams are weird, Some dreams have a beard, Some dreams bring messages, From a place we have revered… Some dreams make us feel our age, Some dreams we do become our own sage, Some dreams are nightmares, Some dreams we have no cares, Some dreams we are falling down stairs… Some dreams bring on tears, Some dreams we are naked while others stare, Some dreams we wake up with morbid fear, Some dreams are less intense, or mere… Some dreams are nostalgic, memories of past deeds done, Some dreams you are on the run, Some dreams you are a big tick, Some dreams you awaken from sick… Some dreams you do lose the self, Some dreams you do find your little writers elf… © ed ~ 10/28/04

some dreams are recurring. I've actually have some of those. I do dream in color. This is a fine write, Ed, thanks for sharing it.

Sigh... it's once in 2-3 years that I remember even a smigdgen of a dream, upon waking... I envy those who vividly recall what they've dreamed. On the other hand, maybe I'm better off not knowing! It could change my whole rosy self, I suppose. Or... maybe its my dreams that manifest themselves in my poems. Ok, ok... this is getting deep... when all I really wanted to do was tell you that I think this poem, with its cascading rhymes is fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable reading. Yep! katy xox.

Dreams, Ed, are your id thinking, or contemplating, or feeling humor, darkness or life. Take dreams with a grain of salt, find what you can and laugh off the rest. This piece felt more calming then the one you just posted... Anything I can do to help?
