FINALLY…

The day has come,

A great weight lifted to some,

No longer must we hear,

No longer must we fear,

Which candidate will get sheared…?

It may be the left-winger,

Or it may be whom we have had all along,

Or for that matter we may see a total change,

In the way this country has been run,

Either way I do foresee a future that is not fun…

I do hope, whoever does win this election,

Does the right thing and does make the selection,

To end war and poverty, to give peace a chance,

All they have to do is have careful reflection,

Thereby seeing this country has been going in the wrong direction…
