We have four years to change the future, lets get started...ed
Keep those flags of dissention flying… Yes keep those flags always flying, Better than standing back and crying, You can do all you want of sighing, As long as you allow the rest of us to stop the lying… Okay, so someone might be in office we do not like, Better than having to really deal with a Fourth Reich, We all can dissent as much as we want; also can we strike, We can also lash out at those we feel are worthless, let us them psych… We have four more years; during that time we can do our best, No need for us right now to get depressed, As we have plenty of time for our future quest, Let us start right now to oust the responsible, Yes, the party in office we do detest… So keep those flags of dissention flying in the wind, Don’t allow this problem the get us too thinned skinned, Need do we to remain open minded, Keeping our sense of humor, staying always quite “grinned”… © ed ~ 11/15/04

Excuse me, Eddie M... this Sowman character down there has posted this same blurb on 3 other poets' sites that I've seen so far... nothing to do with the poem.. apparently, we are all providing him with an open forum to post his notes to whomever he wishes. I think it's rude!

Now, then... where were we.. Ah, yes... well, aren't you just becoming the rebellious radical, indeed?! (grin) But with your good nature and your infectious rhymes, I can't imagine either "side" finding any fault with this. It's pointed and it's fun... can't argue with that! Is it too late for a recount? Sigh.. Way to go....... katy xox.

May I say this much for you, you got it right and this is something we all need to heed. I see it this way nothing that isn't right will never be corrected until we learn to do it the right way. Not a pun either. There are two hands on the body. Right and left they are both needed and useful. Way to go Ed.
