Let me be Clear Here…

Let me make my point clear,

I have no worries and no fear,

Anxieties I do not possess either,

My country herein I do greatly revere…

Worries others do have,

That lack of patriotism this country has,

But I do tend to disagree,

When it is said that patriotism has waned to a degree…

I think we all are patriotic in our own special way,

We don’t all like the same things, how can we display,

We cannot show to everyone just how we feel, no we cannot portray,

As long as WE each know, we are patriots & do to others convey…

So again, let me make this point picture perfectly clear,

I have my own way to show my patriotism,

I am a peace loving hippy, so if that upsets you, sorry my dear,

But we all have to be different,

Else we would be living in a dictatorship, I fear…
