A little down this evening, maybe that is the reason for this dark(?) poem...ed

Death by Gun…

Is it any fun?

To have death by gun,

Never again to see the sun,

Gone to meet the father and son…

Kill me quick and be done,

I herein make no pun,

For I am truly the only one,

To wish for death given me by the gun…

No longer will I have needs,

For the last time will I have peed,

No longer will I wish for money, no more greed,

No longer will I worry that I did not succeed…

I can feel it, yes death, approaching to, on me, feed,

It seems to ride a dark and fearsome steed,

As I lie here in the street, in the dark, and out I do bleed,

Please just allow me to die, onto the next life I wish to proceed…

Hmmmm, isn't this a different write for you!!! Death really scares some folks, but you know what, don't we all ponder our own mortality at some point in life? Perhaps it is the pondering that we find a reason to go on.

Trust me when I tell you, you know this for yourself I'm sure, you are not alone out there. There are so many others who grapple with the pain of depression and thoughts of suicide.

I'm here if EVER you need me.

Love & Peace to you and Rufuz,

~Rose~

Funny enough... I was thinking the same thing many times!!

I want to die quick... like the wink of an eye... if I must suffer illness or any otherway knowing the end is near.. it will kill me to know....so I will take the quick step I guess!!

Ed: Write something humorous . . . once again, that's my best advice for low moments. Write yourself out of your bad mood. Poke fun at yourself, Rufuz, whatever subject you'd like. :)

I hate to do this Ed, but I have to...Your words right back at you..."bad moods are only what you allow yourself to have", and I'll add, they are usually a self-pity party

Ed I guess that is why it is called seasonal depression disorder and many time I felt the same way. Then a little rascal will kiss me awake or I will visit my friend and have a goat grin at me. You have not lived until you see a goofy grin on a goat. Makes your day.

Sweet man, the holidays can be very hard on us. Take Rufuz for a nice long walk and enjoy whatever nature shares with you. Hugs, Suicide is not the answer in any form.

Very dark and dismal write, Ed. Perhaps a trip to the ice cream parlor will sweeten your mood. No more blues!! Go outside and look into the sky and fell how big and small you really are and understand that you are an important part of it all.
Take care,
Sherry

There are probably worse ways to go. I hope you stick around for a long, long time.
