Cornering my Muse

It keeps getting away, going on vacation and trips to the mall, perhaps someone out there can suggest how to hogtie my muse...ed

Cornering my Muse…

Catching my muse,

I first have to corner it,

I have to grab it by the foot,

Or lasso it with a short bit of fuse…

Grabbing my muse as it does pass me by,

Usually is hard when I am myself quite high,

It does sometimes make me want to sigh,

My muse does for the most part not lie,

But it does fib just a bit every now and then,

That is why I do keep my muse to myself and never do I lend…

Trapping my muse is best described as consequential,

Without it I can no longer give even an appearance of being existential,

It does have for me and us all I would put forth,

A certain amount of perfection being so quintessential,

The growth of my muse can be quite exponential…

So if you do see me chasing my muse,

Maybe you could suggest something I could use,

To catch it and keep it locked away so I do not again lose,

My muse is perhaps something that does for me confuse…

I have a lazy and tricky muse, myself. My muse loves to come to me when I have no ability to jot down what it whispers to me. I think my muse must be a cat, because when I call for it, it shows up whenever it pleases. Cute write, Ed.
Take care,
Sherry

Buy one of those invisible electronic dog fences, and strategically place it around the perimeter of your motor home. It will keep both Rufuz, and your muse, constantly by your side.

PS For $49.95 extra, it comes with a 'Jersey Devil Detector' that will sound an extremely loud alarm if that demon approaches your home in the middle of the night. Probably worth the extra money; one can't be too careful these days.

Chain it up, beat it, and let it go hungry. You'll have it whipped in shape in no time.

no muse is bad muse Ed. However, on the other hand... Your writes are super with or without the little fellow...so write on sir, and he will get homesick and come running back to you...great write.
