Seems in my dreams I do speak to Mr Thoreau directly, 'tis weird but I still do enjoy the conversation...

A Conversation with Henry David…

Speaking with H. D. Thoreau,

We start with the obvious, hello,

Unable to break that down am I, although,

We start to elucidate on the coming first snow…

We each do have our ways to write of Nature,

My thoughts on same very much the same as his,

He being the “in print intellectual” here so I do defer,

We speak of the spring and fall, both of which he does prefer…

The season of winter is my purview,

That dreary time of the year,

Yes I am drawn there; never does it bring a tear,

Mr. Thoreau and I speak of it in detail,

Nature in winter does ultimately prevail…

Our time restricted,

He can only converse a short time,

He did return to visit with me, but his time is constricted,

He did not realize his time would be so short; I could have that predicted…

Stop in again, in my dreams we can discuss,

All manner of Nature and how far it has come,

Shortened is Nature’s extreme’s or so it does seem,

How do we repair Nature, how do we alleviate its screams…?

See - you probably are related - if he visits you in your dreams. Start that Journal and try to write down everything he says.

Nice thoughts in this, Ed. Always nice to get to converse with a master bard.
Take care,
Sherry

Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about. You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached. Deciding what is the core of belief.
