Just me...(philosophy? who knows?)

I’ve not felt much like it…

Have not felt like writing in the past few days,

Could not get into my head and figure what to say,

Have only found of late a small reason to get out and play,

Still my desire to write has not been strong, yes no way…

Is it the desire to get out of this job?

The one I have had for the past year or so,

I may want to just get rid of it, ya know?

But damned if I am not nervous about the new place, but no prob…

So here I am writing about nothing,

Opening my heart and soul up to you to read,

I do not want to anyone mislead,

But I am so nervous and anxious I can barely proceed…

What to do, what to say, what to write, what to herein display?

Yes I know I will get past it, no longer will I feel this anxiety,

Wish do I a certain someone were here to hug me, yes Rene’,

Hard for me to remain buzz free, hard to maintain my sobriety,

But knowledge that I must is ingrained in me, you can trust,

Would not want to worry further herein, want no notoriety…

The shortest day of the year is tommorow. Do not be surprised if in a few weeks your energy begins to improve and everything else will slowly fall back into place.

You are the Jerry Seinfield of poetry, Ed. Only you can take a poem about nothing and make it interesting and entertaining. You will do fine with your new job, just give yourself an attitude adjustment. Remind yourself how good you are at what you do and how fortunate this company is to have found you, and how you are going to fit in just fine. Also, change to offense instead of defense. This company should be on trial by you. You need to go there and decide if they are good enough for you to work for them, if they are going to give you a job that will make you feel good about yourself and utilize all your skills. If you should find that answer to be no, then you can just consider this job a stepping-stone to an even better one. It is always nice to have a decent paycheck coming in while you are looking for another more suitable position.
Take care,
Sherry

I'm sending you some Doggy Hugs - by Fed-Ex. Now don't hog them all; let Rufuz have a few, too. And you will do fine in your new job!

PS If you want some Kitty Kisses, let me know, and I'll send those, too.
