Philosophy and humor my favorite category...

Can’t Remember Shit…

People do write quite special reviews,

They tell me more and more I do write of something new,

I do recall the poem itself,

But damned if I can remember what the hell I wrote…

Am I different from the norm?

Wouldn’t be anything new if I were,

Done this since I did live in a dorm,

My writing is just me, my own unique(?) form…

Philosophy and humor my writing is made of,

Nature being my starting point, though sometimes I do scoff,

I do write of myself, the only place to start,

I have at times put the horse where it did belong,

In front of the proverbial cart while singing a song,

So many subjects written about,

So many pieces of dribble about my self-doubt,

I have written of many other things too, a lot of the fart…

But through it all one aim I did have,

To bring to you a little piece of me while providing a laugh,

So now that my ability has been extended,

I will try to bring to you more poetry most unlamented,

For to see you laugh is my only reward,

To have you cry, unless it is your choice,

Would be something I would have unintended…

Well I have also put the horse in front of the cart while singing a song but you have a great deal of talent within in you. One day I will post my poem or did I already called this side of tears.

Ed, I like this autobiographical piece! It rings with lyricism, humor, and realness. I also like the color and font used. How do people here do that? Also want to thank you for your comments and flattery, much appreciated.

Now we're getting somewhere; would love to see a picture of you, Rufuz, and your horse, while you sing an epic poem about Don Quixote (in full Armor, of course). That might bring a tear to my eye - but it would be a tear of joy. Thanks!

PS Laughter truly is - the best medicine.

'...can't remember **it?' Is that anything like what is is? hehe...

Carry on as you have always done, my little canary (that just popped out! LOL) Whatever you write, it is full of truths and effervesceses with your true self. No one could ask for more, my little chickadee... (is she for the birds or what?!) chirp chirp...

ok, ok... I'm done... We should all be glad we don't have total recall most of the time! (grin) Happy New Year, my dear Eddie M. katy xox.

You've got CRS? And here you're calling yourself a New Jersey redneck! I thought they always remembered shit. Gosh, I'm disappointed.
