The Future is Here Now…

Okay all the hype is no longer live,

Some of the country has seen already 2005,

No different from an hour ago,

Boy, already 2005 does altogether blow…J

Tis’ just after midnight in this area,

The fireworks are done, as is the hysteria,

Now we need to fight for the future any malaria,

No big holidays now for quite sometime,

No weekdays upcoming where feast is celebrated, yes, feria…J

Quiet has come back to our little campground,

No longer do sirens or gunshots abound,

I have hopes they did shoot off blanks,

For I live in a fiberglass camper, it is not built like tanks…J

Today is Rufuz’ birthday,

He is five years old this day,

Four of those years he has lived with us,

The first year he did not so happily play…J
